Moving to North Dakota
North Dakota is known as the country's "Friendliest State." It's a title that people do not confront or dispute usually. Visitors and locals only talk about the warm welcomes they receive when they are vacationing in the state or when people are moving to North Dakota. Capital City: The capital city of North Dakota is Bismarck. It is a city right across the Missouri River from Mandan. There's a lot to see here including the State Capitol building built in the 1930s, the Dakota Zoo, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, and the United Tribes International Powwow held every September.

Population: There are approximately 646.844 people in North Dakota, according to July 2009 statistics form the Census Bureau.

Local Activities: In North Dakota, they are all about the Dakota Zoo that houses over 600 animals-these include: prairie dogs, mountain lips, bison and other animals, and they are also crazy about Scheel's-the Midwest's largest all-sport store. Scheel's is so big that they have a Ferris wheel in the middle of it.

Economy: The economy in North Dakota is really great-even compared to bigger states. The fertile lands and big agricultural output has a lot to do with how great the North Dakota economy is doing. North Dakota's top five agricultural products are wheat, cattle, calves, soybeans, corn for grain and sugar beets.
