Moving to Kansas
Kansas is a state in the very center of our nation. It is bordered by Nebraska in the north, Missouri to the east, Oklahoma to the south and Colorado to the west. Kansas used to be the end of the Chisholm Trail for cowboys. It used to be the home for different groups of Native Americans until they were expected to go to school, relinquishing their own culture and habits by force. Before there was a prolific expansion of people, there used to be entire herds of buffalo that roamed the lands before the excessive hunting had consequences. Since the industrialization and development of the state, it has always appealed to people moving to Kansas as a state where agriculture and history reign. A steady stream of crops and a stable economy appeals to those moving to Kansas.

Capital City: Topeka is the capital city of Kansas. The Kansas capitol was built over a period of 37 years from 1866 to 1903.

Population: Over 2,700,000 people reside in Kansas - the 32nd most populous state in the U.S.
