There is so much to do in the small town of Bradenton, Florida. It’s no wonder why people are moving to Bradenton. The city is like a private town and beach. Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast away from all the Florida tourist hotspots, Bradenton is not widely known, but offers miles upon miles on coast and dozens of opportunities for water sports or just relaxation in the sun. Visitors and locals love lying on one of the area beaches, going to one of the museums nearby and exploring Downtown Bradenton for art and food. The size of the labor force of Bradenton, Florida and Manatee County has shrunk a little since 2007. History:
Bradenton, Florida was discovered by Spanish explorer Hernando De Soto in 1739. He was El Dorado—or the Lost City of Gold—when he stumbled on the city surrounded by waterways along the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. There were many Native American groups living in this town until Dr Joseph Braden and other settlers took over the land. The current city was formed with the unification of the City of Manatee and the City of Bradentown.
