| In 1997, Gabriel Kierson started American Moving as literally, “A Man and a Van.” He paid his dues by moving single items and occasionally even undertaking larger moves by himself. He learned early on that the formula for a successful move is simple: treat each and every item as if they were his own and treat every customer as if they were members of his own family. A lot has changed since those days. We now have seven trucks, three trailers, over 20 employees and more than 12,000 square feet of climate-controlled warehouse space. We now have two locations, servicing not only Boulder County and the Front Range, but also Vail Valley and Summit County. We still maintain the “Man and a Van” name for smaller moves, but for the majority of our clients, we are known by the more fitting name of “American Moving”. What hasn’t changed is Gabriel’s original philosophy of quality and customer service. American Moving is now the mover most often referred by real estate agents and brokers in both Boulder County and in Vail Valley. We have a stellar reputation with the Better Business Bureau. Over 80% of our business comes from referrals! Yes, we have come a long way. |
